Yellowstone Vacation With Son Eric and Family

After leaving Colorado Springs we headed for Yellowstone to spend a few days with Eric and his family.  Had a wonderful time.  We even got all three grandsons to spend Sunday night with us while their mom and dad had a night alone to themselves.  It was a great weekend.

Stayed in West Yellowstone during our visit.
This is the closest we ever got to a bear.
Son Eric, his lovely wife Marlo, their youngest son Logan, and
Grandma Berda on a short hike.
"Wait for me" says Logan to brothers Lawson and Ethan.
Ethan, Lawson, and Logan.  Three special young grandsons.
Just a few of the Bison we ran across while driving through Yellowstone.
Watching Old Faithful do her thing.
Logan getting a lift from daddy.
Papa Bruce and Grandma Berda getting a selfie.
Grandma Roberta having special time with Logan.
One of many beautiful hot water pools.
Logan just loves Grandma's pasta salad.
Eric and Logan enjoying time together.
The Dwelle rangers.  Eric looks good with a pigtail.
Taking a break during one of our long hikes.  Not once did any
of the boys complain on our hikes.  Not even grandpa complained.

Like father, like son.
