Bedford, WY

5-23-2015:  Spent 4 days in Bedford, WY. at my son's in-laws.  Got to visit with my son Eric and our two grandsons (Lawson and Ethan).  Had a wonderful time, except for the weather was again more rain than sun.  We will head for West Jordan, UT. in a few days to see our newest grandson, Logan Riley Dwelle.  Here are a few pictures from Bedford, WY.

North To Alaska

5/20/15: We are on the road to Alaska.  Our first night was spent in the American Furniture Warehouse parking lot in Firestone, CO.   We met up with an AquaHot technician there to get a new float switch put in the motorhome.  We were back on the road after just 2 hours.  We are now in Saratoga, WY. at Deer Haven RV Park. We will spend a few days here enjoying the beautiful country and a very nice natural hot spring in town.  After getting the motorhome all set up we headed for the hot springs.  It was wonderful relaxing in the 107 degree water after several hours of driving through heavy fog and snow on good ole I-80. Here are a few pictures of our first day out.

On The Road Again

We are on the road again after spending 2 months with our daughter's family in Falcon, CO. We left yesterday to spend a weekend with the Weekend Warriors.  We've been members of this awesome camping group for 10 years and they're a great group of people.  The group gets together once a month for a camping trip, weather permitting, or dinner.  Now that we are Full-Time RVers, we get with the group when we're in town.  We love these guys.

We are currently at the Circle the Wagons RV Park, La Veta, CO. which is about 2 hrs. south of Colorado Springs.  The weather is great and the park is beautiful.  La Veta is a very small mountain community - very quiet and peaceful.  Here are some pictures we've taken so far of this beautiful area.

Back in Falcon, CO. with Kids

We left Jamaica Beach on March 21st and headed for Colorado Springs.  Our time in Galveston was nice.  The weather the entire month was pretty lousy though.  We had maybe 5 days where we had enough sun to bike or kayak.  Lots of fog and rain.  We did enjoy the beach and fishing and new friends (Brad & Janeen from Michigan).  Our plan is to hook up with them in Florida next year.

We have been in Colorado Springs for nearly 2 months and have enjoyed being around our kids and grandkids, but 2 months is too long.  We've pretty much been stuck here because of the bad weather this past month.  We wanted to head to Salt Lake City several weeks ago, but too many snow storms in Wyoming prevented us from making that trip.

We will be heading to Salt Lake City on May 20th to see our son Jared and Marlo and their 3 wonderful boys.  One grandson is new and it will be our first time seeing him.  Can't wait.

On June 3rd we will meet up with two other couples from Colorado and start our journey to Alaska for 10 weeks.  We are so excited.  There will be a lot of great pictures posted once we start our trip.  Stay tuned.

Hope everyone is doing well.
