Happy 2017

HAPPY NEW YEAR to our family and dear friends.  Another good year behind us and a new year lies ahead.  We will be leaving Corpus Christi in 5 days and looking forward to our time (February) in Orange Beach Alabama.  We've enjoyed the past 3 months here, but kind of tired of the wind and wet weather.  Looking forward to a little warmer weather too.  Bruce had hip replacement 6 weeks ago now and he is doing great according to his doctor and physical therapist.  He still has some swelling after his therapy sessions and walking, but a little ice and ibuprofen take care of that.  He's getting around more and more without the cane, but keeps it in hand in case he needs it.  Roberta continues to make her daily walks.  Her goal is 5 miles a day.  When the weather isn't very nice, she heads to the mall to walk and shop.  She's lost 15 pounds since last summer.  Looking good babe....  Attached are a few pictures of out last month in Corpus.   Enjoy....

Merry Christmas
Bruce all prepped for hip surgery.

Bruce after surgery.  All drugged up.
Bruce day after hip replacement.  Ready to go home.
Bruce back home where Trent was happy to see him.
Shirts were Christmas gifts from our daughter.
Showing off our new shirts.  Trent has his Co-Pilot shirt on too.
Christmas dinner with our many RVing friends at Pioneer RV Resort.
Someone spent Christmas day building a sand Christmas Tree.
At first Bruce said NO WAY, but then he listened to the boss.
Happy I did.
2 weeks after surgery and Bruce thinks he can dance.
Rough seas for two days.  Winds were 30+ mph.  Temps near freezing.
Roberta enjoying walking the mall during the bad weather.
Bruce finally got to do a little fishing since his surgery.
Roberta happy to be able to walk the beaches when the weather is nice.
Beautiful day in Corpus Christi.
Came to Padre Island to watch release of a number of green turtles.
Waiting for the turtle release.  Sixteen turtles are released back into the sea.
One of the happy turtles.
Another lucky turtle.
It was pretty awesome watching these turtles head out to sea.
The RV Park here on N.A.S. Corpus Chriti is home for the Coast Guard.
Getting ready to do a little fishing.  Roberta is on a walk.
Some of the local birds here in Corpus area.
This guy is waiting for some unfortunate fish to come swimming by.
A beautiful day.  This would be a great area to kayak.  Bruce
should be able to get in and out of a kayak soon.
Chilling along the beach.  Enjoying the sun and a good book.
