Jamaica Beach RV Resort - Galveston, TX

Jamaica Beach RV Resort, Galveston, TX.   We've been here for a week now and we're having a good time, when the weather is nice.  It's been quite rainy and temps in the 40s and 50s.  We're looking forward to much warmer weather later this week.  Galveston Island is a great place to visit.  Enjoy the pictures.

3-18-15 Update: We've been here for nearly 4 weeks and we've had about 6 days of sun.   Mostly overcast skys and lots of fog and rain.  We have had a good time and have met some great people.  We will be heading to Colorado Springs on Saturday.  Really looking forward to seeing the kids and grand kids.   Added a few more pictures of our stay in Galveston.

Port Aransas, TX

We had a wonderful day here in Port Aransas, TX.  The weather was so nice we decided to do a little kayaking today over in Aransas Pass and go see Aransas Pass Lighthouse on the Gulf of New Mexico.  It was an awesome trip.  The following pictures tell the story.
Catching the ferry from Port Aransas to Aransas Pass.
The water was as smooth as glass.  Perfect for kayaking.

We had company along the way.  Dolphin were very playful.
Love the hat.  4 hours of kayaking and still paddling.
Pelicans covered the skies above us.
Roberta has this thing about lighthouses.
Dolphin came right up to our kayaks to check us out.
Found a nice sandbar to take a little break.
