We arrived back in Falcon, CO. from our Alaska trip on August 13 and pulled into our daughter's back yard for the next 6 weeks. It was good to be "home" with the kids and grandkids. We sure did miss them. During our stay here in Falcon we helped remodel Jesse & Jennifer's kitchen. Looks great. Bruce had to make a trip to Winnebago Industries in Forest City, IA. to drop off the motorhome for some warranty work (i.e., new windshield, new rear cap, couple new jacks, adjustments on all 3 slideouts, and a handfull of other little things. After dropping off the motorhome he proceeded to Lake City, MN. to spend 2 weeks with his family while the motorhome was being worked on. Roberta stayed with in Falcon and babysat the two cats and two dogs. On Sept. 26th Bruce returned with the motorhome and everything we wanted fixed was completed. Runs like new again. Hoping all the bugs are worked out for now. Sept. 28th was a very sad day for us because we had to put Zoe, our 11 year old Golden Retriever, to rest. She wasn't well enough to continue on the journey with us. We miss her a lot, but know she isn't hurting anymore. On Sept. 29th we loaded up and headed for Salt Lake City to spend time with our son and his family. We will spend a couple weeks here before heading south to visit the Grand Canyon. Having a great time with Eric & Marlo and our three grandsons, Lawson, Ethan, and Logan. Here are some pictures of our stay here in Salt Lake City.
