Minnesota - Passing of a Great Man

While in Oregon this past summer my sweet wife, Roberta, told me one evening that I needed to plan a visit to Lake City Minnesota to see my parents.  My dad has been in a nursing home for a year and it had been six months since my last visit.  That very evening I scheduled my plane flights for October 20-27.  On October 26, 2017, my dad passed away.  You always hope that you're there when one of your parents passes away so they're not alone.  Only God knows when He'll call one of his children home and I have no doubt that my sweet wife was inspired to tell me to schedule a visit home.  I also know that He had a hand in making sure I scheduled the week of October 20th to be home.  It was nice being there with my dad the week prior to his passing.  He knew I was there and though he could not talk, we communicated other ways.  I'm grateful to have had that time with him.  The funeral was a beautiful celebration of his life.  I know he was welcomed home with much celebration as well.  He will always be close to our hearts until we are together again.  The following pictures are in remembrance of that special guy, my dad, Glenn Joseph Dwelle II.

The following were pictures taken during our visit to Minnesota.  My four wonderful children were able to attend their grandpa's funeral.  We had a great time being together.
